Scanning an organization’s archive documents can be very tedious and time consuming, especially when it is done in-house. However, when you contact vendors that provides professional digitization services like Tecres Technologies that have the right equipment and personnel to scan your job quickly and easily, one of the first questions is to ascertain the estimated volume of pages to be scanned.

Most organizations don't know the number of documents/pages, and this is a challenge to determine how to prepare an accurate budget. To determine how many pages you have, you don't have to count every page of paper in your filing cabinet or banker’s box.

With a combined experience of over 35 years and scanning over 100 million pages in the since 2014, Tecres Technologies helps you to calculate a more accurate estimate for your digitization project. If you know how many pages are in a standard archive box also known as bankers’ box, then you can estimate your archive pages.

The standard archive box measures 15" L x 12" W x 10" H. An average of 2,000 - 2,500 A4 single pages can fit into this box which is about 4 bulky arch-lever files. A standard 4 drawer filing cabinet can hold 2 archive boxes per drawer and as much as 8,000 pages at its fullest.
